When using them as Floating Lanterns, they are suitable for all celebrations or when remembering a loved one. You may even write your own personal wishes on them, before launching them into the water. It is said that by whispering a wish into the Wishing Lantern before its release, one's bad luck, ill feeling or misfortunes are given to the rivers and lakes, thus allowing for a renewed life.
But they can also be used inside the house and the number of usages is simply endless. You may put them anywhere in the house: on the stairs, on a table, in the bathroom, in a dark corner, etc.
Instructions how to assemble:
- Push the four rods into each corner of the wooden base of the lantern.
- Slide the paper sleeve over the rods.
- Place the (supplied) tea light into the centre of the lantern and light.
- It is now ready for display or for releasing your well wishes.
